The Grand Drapery, also referred to as the Main Curtain, is the principal front-of-stage curtain system used in auditoriums and TV studios. Positioned along the proscenium line, it provides a dramatic and elegant opening/closing element, enhances stage aesthetics, and contributes to visual and acoustic separation between audience and performance space.
This curtain system is available in Motorized Horizontal and Motorized Vertical Opening configurations. It is constructed using flame retardant stagegrade velvet, supported by a heavy-duty mechanical system comprising Rope Wire, Pulleys, Pulley Blocks, and a Motorized Winch, all operated through a dedicated Stage Motor Control Panel.
